Valerie Gora LMT, BCST, NSCA-CPTValerie graduated from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy in 1999. She is a nationally certified personal trainer since 1992; graduating from the Health and Sports Institute of Chicago in 1996. Valerie is a Birth Doula trained by The Association of Labor Assistants and Childbirth Educators since 2000. She completed her 700 hour Biodynamic Craniosacral foundation training in 2003. She has advanced studies and certifications in Pre and Peri-natal massage, Myofascial Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Infant Massage, and multiple health and fitness specialties. She was an instructor at the Chicago School of Massage from 2000-2004. During that time she taught the complete school curriculum. In 2002 Valerie started teaching advanced bodywork courses in Myofascial, Sports, Pregnancy, Infant and Integrated bodywork until leaving Illinois in 2007. Her practice for 9 years in Illinois included specializing in specific relief massage with migraines, shoulder, back and hip injuries, mastectomy recovery, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, pregnancy massage and biodynamic craniosacral therapy. Today she has a practice in North Palm Beach, FL. Her business consists of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Massage, Pre & Peri-natal massage and Birth & Labor Preparation as a Doula. She continues to hold education as a passion and provides courses in Advanced Massage Therapy and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. Valerie is an approved provider by the NCTMB and Florida Board of Massage to teach continuing education. |
